My name is Justin Eldred and my wife and I are the directors of the Auburn House of Prayer. (AHOP) We are interested in connecting with different prayer groups on campuses across the state. I would love to learn about what you guys are doing prayer wise at Alabama.

We meet every tuesday night at our house for two hours. We spend the first hour pursuing God's presence and fostering intimacy through worship and soaking and then transition into intercession for the second hour. We spent last week and this week in prayer specifically for the US elections, but will return to more focused prayer for Auburn and the campus the following week.

We pray God's blessing, favor, anointing and goodness to guide and protect you guys as you advance the kingdom at U of A. Blessings!!!!

My hardest battle is keeping God in the forefront of my mind during the day. I am trying my best to do that so I can be that much closer to being "in tune" with God's Will. I ESPECIALLY want to think of God whilst playing an instrument (whether that be my trumpet, bass, or djembe).

I read the beliefs and stuff on the website and LOVE it! I am definitely going to have to check out the church!! Unfortunately, due to me being in the band, we have an away game this weekend and I shall miss out on attending this Sunday. If you get this message before Sunday would you mind praying for all of us that our trip shall be safe and that those of us who are living for Christ will be able to impact the band in a whole new way?
